Don’t Sabotage Your Greatness With Small Thinking

The number one thing I see holding people back from achieving big goals is the fact that they aren’t willing to think bigger.

Many people find a form of comfort in thinking small, even if they’re then left doubting themselves or questioning what they could be doing differently.

Here’s the thing. The goals that scare you are the ones that are worth pursuing, and they will make you better once you decide to go after them.

It all starts with your mind and what perspective you choose to have. If you think positively and convince your mind that you can do something, then you are more than likely going to actually do it.

On the other hand, if you tell yourself that a goal is too big or that it’s impossible, you’re stunting your own growth. The only real limits that you have are the ones that you create inside of your own mind.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

This is so true and is something that I learned during my junior year of college. After thinking about it, I realized that what we think about every day determines what we’re going to do the next day, and so on.

Because of this, I not only set goals, but I set BIG goals and I stick to them.

When I see people working in corporate businesses, I think about how they get through their workday. They go to their job, do their work, get caught up in their responsibilities, think about their next task, and prepare themselves for the next order from their boss.

In this type of situation, it can be hard to find the time to just think to yourself, let alone challenge yourself to think big and set massive goals.

As human beings, we all have our ups and downs and the moments where we feel like the things we want in life aren’t possible. Times are always bound to get tough, but those are the times that make us stronger and allow us to become the great people we strive to be.

The good times that follow are what make all of the hard work worth it.

It all starts with your mind, how you think, and what goals you’re trying to achieve. If you think positively and make big commitments, you will achieve the things that you want in life and will be a happier person.

Don’t let negative thoughts take up space in your mind and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Instead, think about how you’re going to become the most successful person that you can possibly be.

A couple of years ago I was planning an event and decided that I was going to get 10,000 people there and bring in great speakers from all over the country. I had a lot of people laugh at me for having such a large goal and thinking so big.

You know what? I laughed at them and asked, “Why do you think so small? Why do you let your mind limit you?”

Most people convince themselves that they can’t do something or they listen to others tell them that something is unrealistic or impossible. If you aren’t willing to think big, you’ll never achieve big things.

The only limitations that are capable of holding you back are the ones that you give your imagination the permission to create.

Whether you choose to think big or small, each option will take some form of time, effort, and strategy. You might as well think big, because what do you have to lose?

Some people may call you crazy, just as I’ve heard time and time again. But, the crazy people are the ones that achieve crazy goals. They are the people that have built this country – the Steve Jobs, Andrew Carnagies, and Thomas Edisons of the world.

The people that are willing to push their minds past invisible barriers are the ones building a foundation for the future that us millennials are going to create. I will be a part of that, and I want you to join me.

I’m very passionate about what I do in life.  Everyone should be. 

I want everyone to experience the life that I experience every single day. A life of freedom, happiness, experiences, and the ability to better myself as a human being while also helping others go after what they love in life.

I think BIG every single day because the first step in achieving big goals is believing that you can achieve them.

Some people may laugh or tell you that you’re insane, but don’t let their negative thoughts and doubts become your own. That way of thinking is their burden to carry, not yours.

To become great you must start by thinking bigger, so what are you waiting for? Get to it!
