Episode 142: Repetition is the Key to Success

To become great at something you must do it consistently and continue to get better.  It consists of repetition.  I exercise every single day because I want to maintain my current fitness level and it helps me focus.  If I would take a week off, my fitness results would show (in a bad way), and I would not have as much energy as I do.  This is why I don’t take time off.  Repetition is the key to success.  That goes beyond the gym.

If you want to be great in your area of work, you need to do it everyday and continuously get better. 

You must push yourself and go out of your comfort zone.  For me I strive to become a better speaker every day by doing snapchats (btadams18), creating videos, podcasts, and going on other podcast shows.  Every single day I’m working to master my passion for speaking and motivating others.  I will always be striving to get better and continue to master my speaking abilities until the day I die.

The question is, are you repetitive with your work?  Are you mastering your craft every single day?  You first need to start, then make progress daily.  As the old saying goes, if you want to move a mountain, you start by moving a rock at a time.  Over time you will move that mountain, or in your case, you will become the best at what you do and you will reach all the goals you set out for.  I know.  I’ve moved many mountains over the years and sometimes it seemed impossible to get it all accomplished and reach that finish line.  Everything is accomplishable if you just start, and do a little bit to get better every single day.  Eventually those little things that you do will amount to a lot.

Repetition is the key to success my friends.  Be repetitive and you will see results over time.
