Many people ask me what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. They say how do you do it? How have you put yourself into the positions you are in and how do you get to work with very influential people? Its really not rocket science. It comes down to how hard you are willing to work and if you can handle the journey. A lot of the best entrepreneurs can see which industries are about to take off and capitalize on this. For example, the cannabis industry is growing year by year as more legalisation laws are brought in. It makes it the perfect time to start your own cannabusiness because you will be able to make the most of the healthy market. Being able to see potential business ideas and following through with them allow you to separate the best entrepreneurs from the ones who just don’t have what it takes. All you have to do is never give up. You must never stop moving forward. You are going to see many temporary failures and there are going to be times when you will want to quit.
If it was easy everyone would do it.
No success story comes without multiple failures. Failure makes you stronger and teaches you things that most people will never understand. The more you fail, the more you will be successful.
The more you put yourself outside of your comfort zone and do things that scare you, the more you will grow as a person. You should be growing and getting better every single day. This is in all areas of your life.
I’ve always been a competitive person. I like to win. I like to get better. In high school I was the guy who wanted to be the hardest hitting person on the football field and the strongest guy in the gym. In order to do that I needed to work harder then everyone else and have a stronger mindset. I was in the weight room more then anyone on the team. I told myself I was the best and the strongest person on the team. When I got hit, I hit harder. When I got hurt, I used the pain as fuel to be stronger. Nothing stopped me. These characteristics and mindset allowed me to be the captain of my team.
Since high school I’ve used those same traits in everything that I do. I’m the captain of my own destiny and of the teams I lead. I’m no longer hitting people on the football field but I am still in the weight room regularly. I still have the mindset of success and never quitting. When I want something I get it.
If you want to become the most successful entrepreneur then you have to want it. You need to use your temporary pain as fuel to get stronger. You must not accept defeat. You must do whatever it takes to succeed. Either you will find a way to get to the top or you will find an excuse.
I don’t make excuses.
