You know that voice that sometimes creeps into your thoughts telling you to give up? That little whisper that can easily cloud your mind and make you question what you’re doing when you’re going through a tough time?
I swear, being an entrepreneur can make you feel like you’re crazy at times, especially when you’re going through a rough patch.
My best advice to you is, don’t let that give you a reason to throw in the towel on all that you’ve set out to accomplish. You have to push through your obstacles and look past the dark times.
When you choose to keep going and remove the option of quitting from the equation, victory is just around the corner!
It’s really true that some of our greatest successes happen beyond our darkest times. I can say this from experience.
Some of my greatest accomplishments have followed my all-time lowest moments. Those were the times I wanted to quit and started to ask myself what I was even doing. But, was I insane for the part of me that wanted to keep going?
Hard times that you’re faced with are there to test you and push you closer to a breakthrough. The decision to quit or to keep pushing forward will determine your level of success.
Just. Keep. Going.
After you have enough wins you’ll be able to acknowledge that when the hard times come, things will always get better. The obstacles we’re forced to overcome are only ever temporary, so don’t give them the power to control you.
Stay positive and keep grinding!
Ask yourself this… “Is what I’m going through right now going to be something I’m still dealing with six months from now?” Better yet, is it something you’ll even remember in six months?
If not, then why are you making a big deal out of it?
Why are you giving so much of your energy to this small bump in the road?
I always say that if it’s not a life or death situation, it’s probably not all that significant. Whether it involves your finances, something going wrong in your business, or maybe you’re dealing with a break-up, I promise you that it will get better. It just takes some time.
But remember this. Giving up on something does not buy you more time.
It doesn’t do anything more than close doors to the opportunities you’ll be walking away from. Your victory will come from moving on and moving forward and working harder.
Stay around positive people that build you up rather than tell you to give up.
Surround yourself with people that say, “Keep going! Don’t quit! You’re almost there! You got this!”
You need this motivation, whether it’s through people, motivational books, devoting more time to self-care, or all of the above, you need to keep yourself in a positive atmosphere.
Steer clear of the negative nancys out there, because they will only bring you down.
You need to be around people that are rooting for you and want you to succeed.
The people that feel threatened by your achievements don’t deserve a seat at your table.
My challenge for you is to keep going, even when you’re faced with the temptation to quit. Afterall, how will you ever reach your full potential if you don’t give yourself the room to grow?
