Life can be a bitch and there will always be new obstacles to overcome. You can either let your bad circumstances and situations affect you in a negative or positive way. The choice is yours.
What you need to do is take all that “bad” stuff going on in your life and use it to fuel you to become better.
Think about your WHY. Life will not only get easier, but it will also make a whole lot more sense when we stop and ask ourselves why we do the things we do.
You then need to use that to drive yourself to work harder. Use that feeling to push you every single day to get to where you want to be. Whatever is going on in your life right now, no matter what the circumstance, things will get better.
You can always get back up. The negative situations you deal with will only make you stronger, so don’t let them drag you down.
I wake up every single day with a drive, passion, and willingness to give it my all. I do this because I want to become the best and I want to help people that need to hear my voice to see what’s possible.
I do this because I think about my end goal and those people that need me. I think we all need to think about our why.
What is it that we want to achieve and why are we doing it?
In order to understand your why, you will need to ask yourself questions like…
What are you most passionate about?
What are your greatest strengths?
What brings fulfillment to your life?
Knowing your why will give you the courage to take on any necessary risks to get ahead and stay motivated, regardless of the odds or obstacles faced.
When you know what that is, you’re more likely to work harder, give it all you got, and push until you get to where you want to go. Are you pushing yourself to the max and reaching for the stars?
What is the WHY behind what you are doing, and what is your purpose?
Once you know what this is, you will have days where you’re completely exhausted, but you’re willing to keep going because it’s not about you at all. You are driven to help others – the people that you’re going to impact.
I always remind myself of this throughout the struggles, tough times, and when I’m feeling worn out. I tell myself it’s not about me, it’s about the lives I can change for the better.
Keep in mind that choosing to put others before yourself will come at a cost.
Instead of strictly devoting all of your time, money, and energy on things that benefit you, you will have to put yourself on the back burner at times for the sake of helping others.
When you’re doing something you love that brings purpose to your life, this sacrifice will seem very small in the grand scheme of things.
Think about that the next time things are tough for you. Who’s it about for you?
Who could you be helping on the other end of that mic, that video, that book, that blog, that podcast show? Your WHY will help guide you towards achieving your goals and creating a life of fulfillment for yourself and others.
